Not to turn this into a non-food blog (I promise the food news will return tomorrow), but I just read this brilliant op-ed from Maureen Dowd that was in yesterdays NY Times. I don't always get with her snarky, "how could you possibly not agree with me" rants, but this one is so spot on regarding McCain's Obama-envy. It begins...."Not since Iago and Othello obsessed on the comely Cassio, not since Richard of Gloucester killed his two nephews, not since Nixon and Johnson glowered at the glittering J.F.K., has there been such an unseemly outpouring of boy envy."
And goes on from there, taking down Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson along the way. Great stuff Mo-D!
