I often find myself wanting a sour-sweet flavor to accompany my meat dishes and chutneys fit the bill nicely. The grocery store near me had a sale on mangoes, so I snatched up 6 and canned a big batch of chutney. It's nice to be able to pop a can open whenever I'm in the mood.
